Born to refine the fabric of the pinnacle of the human profile , Valerie Brown conformed her artistry of hair in 2003. The blueprint of her passion began as she embark on her journey working in the elite Central West End for four and a half years. During this time her refinement emerged. Through extensive education, determination, and as her clients would say "meticulousness," Valerie advanced to a new level.
September 2007 filtered a new vision. Valerie shared her journey with Steven Lacy at Christopher Steven's the Salon. During this period, Valerie became an accessory within the fashion and advertising industries. She caught the eye of the ingenious Stephen Garnett, one of the top photographers in St. Louis. She embarked in his vision, styling hair for various reputable models and agencies such as Mother Model Management (St. Louis), Next (NY, Milan), and Centro (Chicago). Valerie has since then worked with many of St. Louis's talented photographers and videographers. She has styled hair for numerous editorial productions, promotional companies, music videos, magazines, local fashion/charity events, and various states of the fashion industry.
Throughout Valerie's experience in this industry, she has incorporated her inspiration along side modern style to generate an unparalleled definition of hair. Teaching her clients the most essential key to achieving remarkable hair, educating them on the health of their hair. Each client has the knowledge when they leave on how and why each step is taken to achieve their style. Her endless knowledge in Redken color, cutting technique, and style has created an extraordinary definition of hair. Through the eyes of Valerie exists a polished infatuation for the art and movement of hair. Thus, guiding her to her dream of becoming a Creative Director for hair.
